Gaelic Games

​There is a very strong tradition of hurling and gaelic football in St. Mary’s CBS. At present, the school are reigning U13 A Hurling and Gaelic Football County Champions – an extraordinary feat and a first for the school. The boys train regularly both before and after school. We have a number of teachers who give very freely of their time and experience – Mr. Leahy, Mr. Curran, Mr. Williams and Mr. McCarthy. While the school has been victorious in recent times, our philosophy is always about enjoyment, participation and development.
