Introductory Statement
A school policy on Discipline was originally devised in 2007. Following an extensive review of the school code of behaviour and all issues in relation to discipline, this new policy was formulated, during Croke Park staff meetings, in the first term of 2016/2017. All staff, parent representatives and pupils were consulted in reviewing the policy. A separate appendix entitled Cherry Blossom A.S.D. Preschool’s Behaviour Policy and Procedures (Appendix 3) for specific use in the ASD Unit was devised in May of 2017 and attached following ratification in June 2017.
